3 Meals A Day一日三餐中文

Our story

One dish started it. Five outlets carry it on.

Born in the salted-egg craze

When a new head chef joined the kitchen, Singapore was falling head over heels for salted egg yolk. He took a traditional Chinese delicacy and gave it a Western twist - rich, golden, unapologetically creamy - and poured it over the most Singaporean plate of all: chicken rice. The creamy salted egg chicken rice was born, and it has never left the menu since.

Same recipe. Same fire.

Still the number 1 seller. The recipe hasn't changed - because it never needed to.

The classic, taken beyond

Chicken rice is heritage. Salted egg is Singapore-born and modern. We serve both on one plate, at five outlets islandwide - because hard work deserves three good meals a day.

The story, in motion

No set, no script: just the dishes, the stall and the family that runs it, filmed the way we cook every day. The sauce pours from the same recipe over live fire, at every one of our five outlets. And the closing line is the only house rule we keep: come hungry.

Best watched hungry.

Real fire, real woks, hawker prices - this is Singapore zi char culture.
